FRENCH BEANS

French beans (mishiris) are one of the crops dominating Kenya’s export market with a low local consumption rate. Production of these mishiris is primarily done in warm areas such as Machakos, Thika, Murang'a, Kirinyaga, Naivasha, Nyeri and Embu with the common varieties in the Kenyan market being Amy, Teresa, Samantha, Serengeti Julia and Paulista.

AVOCADO

Avocado farming in Kenya presents a good opportunity  not only for farmers, but a growing  population of young people to venture into.  The most popular variety for the export market is the HASS avocado.

SNOW PEAS

The snow pea are valuable vegetables, along with sugar and snap peas are part of a group of peas botanically known as Pisum sativum var. macrocarpon. Members of the Fabaceae family these peas are known for their tender edible seed pods.
