Sugar Snaps

Sugar snaps are a cross between the garden pea and mangetout. The edible pods are plump and have a crunchy texture. Pods of sugar snaps actually snap when the pods are broken. The taste of sugar snaps is sweeter than garden peas. In fact sugar snaps have the sweetest taste of all peas.
