Lucky Summer Two

VPM have developed 2 housing units known as Lucky Summer 1 & 2.  Lucky Summer 1 is completed, and is already providing basic rented accommodation to enable people to rent their own place. Their monthly rents also provide a regular, local income stream that enables VPM to sustain it's employment of staff. 

 

First wing of Lucky Summer 2

In February 2012, the first half of Lucky Summer 2 has been completed. Completing the second half will achieve the target of being able to pay proper local salaries, rather than basic allowances. This will allow VPM to retain staff for longer, as they will be being paid a proper salary for the work they are doing.

 

The second phase of Lucky Summer is stalled for lack of funds, and we seek a final phase of investment to finish this work to provide a sustainable local income stream.
